Knee Pain

KNEE PAIN

Have you been running outside due to gym closures during the pandemic? Have you experienced knee pain after running?

It is important to have your doctor diagnoses the real cause for your knee pain. Knee pain may have many causes: ruptured ligament, a muscle strain, or medical conditions like obesity, arthritis, gout, infections, etc. First of all, ensure your knee is not swollen or bruised. If that's the case call your doctor. If no swelling and bruises are visible, Maya may be able to decrease your pain to minimum.

Total Knee Arthroplasty  (TKA)

If you went through surgery recently and your physical therapy sessions are over but you still feel like your knee does not feel the way it should be, Maya may be able to help. Decreasing the pain in your knee will help you improve your posture and walking pattern, which will enable you to return to previous activities that you enjoyed before surgery.
